Welcome Megan. I was banded by Dr. Snyder one year ago in June of '08. You picked a great surgeon. Good luck to you! I have lost 125 lbs in a year and couldn't be happier.

Also if the weather permits (no thunder and lightening storms etc....) we will meet at 5:30 pm in the Starbuck's parking lot to walk around the lake @ Clement Park (Johnson Lake)

When I am in Aurora and I used to live at Smokey Hill and Danube. I used Dr John Willard. I know he will take on new patients. I just saw him a few weeks ago when I was there for a visit.

Good luck with your surgery! The Lap-Band Forum has some great information and supportive people that have been through just about anything you can think of. So far it's been a good tool to get my non-medical questions answered.

I am on my way to being banded..well, I have all my consults done and meet with Dr. Snyder on 8 July!!
Just wanted to say HELLO!
I am hoping for a quick approval as my BMI is pretty high; Yes, I called my insurance company and discussed it with them, as well as my PCP. ALL ON BOARD!
It is an exciting time and I really liked your post about how it went and how well you are doing.

Kate is awesome, she is a NP and very much a support in my own WLS journey!
